Superb and inspiring sculpture, and from recycled materials at that! I am extremely excited about this piece! Great work, and a well-deserved DD!

This inspires me. Just from using all those ingredients to create art makes me want to do stuff similar with ordinary home supplies or leftovers.

This is very creative. It's wonderful how - with just some creative thinking - people like yourself can create such masterpieces with just everyday stuff that we take for granted. Myself, I've always wanted to do things like this but my thinking always go ahead of me (lacking skills, materials, knowledge of materials, etc), hence stopping me before I even start. Now I feel it's possible than ever before!
Thanks for sharing, and more importantly, for the inspiration!

I feel the same way when it comes to trying out new things or trying to think outside your own box, The best thing I found which opened the door to things I never knew I could do was "youtube.com" when ever I want to try something out Ill research it on youtube and see if anyone els has done or at least part of it, if I can gather enough info it almost always leads me to personal discovery. =)
thank!!!! =) =)

Cool! Congrats on DD! This particularly caught my eye because I'm really into steampunk, though I kinda don't have time to make quality items.

No problem! :) Say, if you like conventions and can travel, check out the Steampunk's World Faire convention! I've gone the past two years and really enjoyed it, plus there are usually some great bands.
Just looked up the website, here's the official one:
