This is very creative. It's wonderful how - with just some creative thinking - people like yourself can create such masterpieces with just everyday stuff that we take for granted. Myself, I've always wanted to do things like this but my thinking always go ahead of me (lacking skills, materials, knowledge of materials, etc), hence stopping me before I even start. Now I feel it's possible than ever before! Thanks for sharing, and more importantly, for the inspiration!
I feel the same way when it comes to trying out new things or trying to think outside your own box, The best thing I found which opened the door to things I never knew I could do was "youtube.com" when ever I want to try something out Ill research it on youtube and see if anyone els has done or at least part of it, if I can gather enough info it almost always leads me to personal discovery. thank!!!!
excellent work! I thought 1st all materials were metal, but after reading the description, I'm amazed how the textures are achieved by the sculpting and painting o:! very well deserved DD, congratulations
No problem! Say, if you like conventions and can travel, check out the Steampunk's World Faire convention! I've gone the past two years and really enjoyed it, plus there are usually some great bands. Just looked up the website, here's the official one: [link] Really cool event, lots of vendors & panels, plus some outdoor stuff!
